haven't posted any pictures but they were on my instagram story if you saw them but the rocket is pretty much done, there are a few things like fixing some paint stuff, and finding a way to mount the go-pro without gluing it in witch i have done i just need a model and to make the actual parts. the paint is done, the rocket motor is assembled with the 0-rings, connected by epoxy, superglue, woodfiller, and screws to secure the shock cord O-ring and the motor O-ring, it is screwed in place, the part holding the hook for the second stage is sandwiched between 2 layers of epoxy and the second stage is lined with epoxy aswell to make sure the forces do not crush it because i sanded down the tube coupler a bit too much, I will try to get pictures on tomorrow unless i forget.
other stuff
parachute test was succesessfulll, no damage at all, not even a dent, was dropped at 400 feet.
thank god
space flight simulator (sfs): free on mobile (no dlc) 10$ on steam but you get dlc too.
kerbal space program (ksp): like 60$ but its fun
warthunder: free
hearts of iron iv: idk
forza horizen: its fun
microsoft flight sim 2024: if your pc can handel it.
built out of eco freindly wood venner from little john, and galvonized wood putty. jokes aside its made out of wood and secured with wood putt, for the test i will use a pbc pipe secured to a wood board, and 2 15 pound weights, the motor is rated for 3 pouunds so i should be good, the only thing to worry about is how tight the o-ring is on the motor. if its not tight enogh the motor could slide out, we dont have to worry about that in flight though beacuse we areint trying to stay still, the kenetic energy, will be pushing up and not down so the force will push the rocket up instead of moveing out.
motor mounts were built by hussan and his brother, i just told them how, the acuall one on the rocket will be made by me.
looking back to the blender model i made durring the summer, the mount is very similar. the only thing missing is the caseing. also the 2end o-ring broke off but we wont need it for the test anyway
it will be there durring the flight though.
also the motor is secured with wood putty. and not epoxy.

what is spite 1?
spite 1 is a rocket currently being developed by ayad aka me, it is a model rocket using a E-12-4 rocket motor and a flight computer used for data logging. It is a hobby level rocket and will store data with an sd card. Flight computer will be using the aurdino platform using an aurdino uno as the flight controler or "brain" the accelerometer or gyroscope is an mpu 6050. and uses an micro sd card slot all code is written in aurdino c++ and uses BT-80 estes body tubes.
i will have to do a static fire test in my backyard witch means i gotta weld or find away to make a test pad and then idk, the reason im doing this is because I'm switching the motor mount to 3d printed nylon, plastic of course can melt, so instead of launching it and having a 50% chance of it failing, i just test it at home, i will record the test and upload it to my YouTube channel because yea. if anyone has a welding machine and the other stuff probably not, PLEASE LET ME BORROW IT IM NOT SPENDING 150$ ON SOMETHING IM GONNA USE ONCE, i might build a car because some 16 year old did it on YouTube and that shit is not good for my ego, so idk. i aim to do the static fire test some time durring winter break or november beacuse i gotta focus on shcool stuff.
ayad lil baklava gets 3d printer
i got a 3d printer, if your wondering its an ender-3-v3 SE for 160 at microcenter ( it was on discount its 200 something)
my room is filthy and i couldint give less of a shit
its just a change from thickness of plywood base and now its basswood and not whatever that other one was.
ROCKET MOTORS = POWER basicly the engine its one of the most powerful you can buy rn i think its second
this, is a 24 inch parachute.
still not completely painted the brown part is the tube coupler, top white part is avionics, first stage is left and thats it, idk what else there is to say.
new one uses plywood and better solder for batteries, also more sturdy frame and no more outside caseing just the body tube, now theres and air tag and its smaller
image of avionics bay consisting of, mpu 6050, battery, aurdino uno, a go-pro, air tag, and held together by the hopes and dreams of hot glue and blue tape
the o-rings slide onto the outer of the motor casing, then the motor slides into the casing, the o-rings are epoxied onto the motor casing then slid into the engine block with the casing attached, they are then epoxied onto the casing as well the purpose of the o-rings are to secure the motor casing to the engine block at all times. the motor casing protects the engine block from the heat of the motor.

it will use an aurdino uno NOT nano (btw this is very inaccurate its just simular the only difference is power revival and a LOT of other stuff)
